Stupid War ...Stupid People ...Stupid Interrogations

Just recently I was watching a documentary that had to do with how the American soldiers based in Iraq were treating prisoners of war and what practices they used to interrogate them in order to discover the whereabouts of Saddam Husein.

It seems that where Saddam Husein was hiding was the justification to do pretty well anything they pleased with their prisoners. If you call interrogation stripping a man down to his birthday suit and having him pose in very awkward positions together with other men and then having a female soldier smiling in the picture beside them giving this practice her thumbs up, you've definitely got a problem, buddy! This Soldier later excuses herself in the documentary saying that it was just a habit that she had every time some she posed for a picture. Is this a new standard procedure for interrogating?

They are stupid if they think that everybody is going to agree that this practice is an efficient way of obtaining information from anybody! And thinking that people are going to be fooled by their flimsy explanations for doing wrong, is just a way of insulting our intelligence.

The last time I checked, interrogation meant:

• The interviewing of subjects as commonly employed by officers of the police and military. This practice is used for getting information from a suspect, witness or victim after a crime has been committed.

...so where does torture and humiliation come into all of this?

Somebody needs to explain to some of the people in the US military that they do not have the right to humilliate people just because they are not Americans and then just come up with some very stupid, flimsy explanations as to why they did it. The logic behind this behavior definitely escapes my comprehension and makes me believe that these soldiers are not any better than the terrorists themselves. So they can stop justifying something that is wrong in the name of democracy, the "free" world, or whatever they may believe in.

As usual, the "little guys" are not at fault in all of this as much as the big bosses who should know better than to force their subordinates to do whatever they please and to justify it with trying to find out where the president of Iraq was.

Now I have a question for these people:
They line up a whole bunch of guys against a wall, naked as J-birds, and put a hood over their heads, then they make them play with their "privates". Could someone please explain to me how this method will get them the information that they need?

This is only one woman's modest opinion on this matter and of course you are welcome to your own opinion. I just think that the BIG guys on both sides are not playing with a full deck.

Stupid Commercials

Today I have chosen to pick on stupid things that come right into our houses via our TV set ...or idiot box.

I like to watch TV and I understand that what is being shown has to be paid for, therefore advertising has its place. As a matter of fact, it's great when you've been waiting to go to the bathroom for 10 minutes because you didn't want to miss something and suddenly a commercial pops up on the screen giving you the perfect opportunity to empty your bladder ...or the other thing.

Now, let's consider those commercials that advertise some kind of medication. Have you noticed that it starts off by telling you the enormous benefits of this new drug and then you get this omniscient person's voice, speaking very fast telling you all the side effects that this medication can produce like:

nausea
suicidal tendencies
heart disease
liver failure
chronic lung disease
headaches
upset stomach
...and the list goes on and on.

Then they then proceed to tell you to inform your doctor if you have any of the described symptoms. I don't know about you people, but the doctor who will be prescribing this medication should have some clue about my current health status, otherwise he would not be prescribing the stuff, duh!

On the other hand, there's a place we all know from watching their commercials which is advertising that they carry "bona fide" chicken. Now, I don't know about you guys, but the last time I looked up this term in a dictionary it was a legal term meaning "made in good faith without fraud or deceit", so they are swearing that what they are serving us is real chicken! Now, when I say something, I always try to tell the truth to the best of my knowledge and therefore do not need to swear on someone's grave that it is true. As a matter of fact, the last time I heard someone swear that something was true, they turned out to be lying through their teeth. So they can skip the bona fide chicken crap and get on with selling tender and juicy like everyone else!

Another place advertises that you get a submarine sandwich on "oven baked bread". The last time I checked, bread was baked in an oven ...not in a frying pan, the kitchen sink, the sun deck, or up your ass! The lengths people go to to sell you something and the stupid things we end up falling for never ceases to amaze me!

Take my advice. The next time the commercials pop up on the screen, press the mute button and make up the conversation yourself ...it's a lot more creative and fun, and the whole family can join in.

Life Is About Making Choices

I refuse to believe that stupidity is something someone is born with. You see, life is a matter of choices. If you don't think things out properly, you end up making stupid choices. I myself have made my share of them, but the difference between myself and some others is that I can admit that I have made a mistake and I have no one to blame but myself. I apologize to those I have offended due to my stupid judgment and get on with life again.

On the other hand, others go through life blaming everyone but themselves for their own stupidity. They decide to do things that the average Joe would know is bad judgment, but still they press onwards, thinking that somehow they are the exception to every rule in the book.

Let me give you a couple of examples:

Everyone knows that you don't lend money to someone who has a reputation of never paying back; but for some reason I have lived with people who have done this repeatedly and will never admit to having made a mistake, They drive their family to the poorhouse, while others keep taking advantage of them for the fools they are.

Another example I've witnessed of someone blaming you for their own wrongdoings. was a man I was with who would take drugs, have affairs and even ended up having a child with another woman. Somehow it ended up being all my fault, for which I deserved the beatings I was receiving ...How absurd is that!?

This world would definitely be a better place if everybody took responsibility for their own foolishness. My advice for today is that there are people among us who are like this, so beware! ...Unless, of course, you are one of these people I am describing. In that case, I can only tell you to grow up and get a life! ...See ya, don't wanna be ya!

The Bear Facts

I suppose you've all heard about the 32 year old woman who decided it would be a good idea to jump into the polar bear exhibit at the zoo yesterday.

Now, if she had accidentally slipped and fallen in, she would have my sympathy. But as the story goes, she jumped in on her own accord because she must have wanted to go for a swim with these animals.

The last time I checked, I read that a bear is a dangerous animal that you don't want to mess around with. The fact that it weighs about half a ton and has big claws and pointed, sharp teeth did not seem to deter this woman from this stupid act, as she probably thought that they were cute stuffed animals, or something similar. I think that if you look up "stupid" in Wikipedia today, you'll find her picture, lol!

On trying to come up with a sensible reason why she would do something of this nature, I could only conclude that these particular animals, due to their nature, have difficulty doing the back stroke and must have asked this woman for her help ...to which she graciously volunteered her services. They later changed their minds when they saw her in the pond and thought that she would make a delicious dessert for the meal that they were already enjoying and started biting her in the ass. Now, if you ask me, I think she has earned herself the "stupidest person of the day" award.

Here's a piece of advice: If you go to a zoo, and you see fences and/or high walls between yourself and the animals, that usually means "don't cross over!" Do not attempt to assist any animal, because that's exactly what they are ...animals! ...not pets, or cuddly stuffies.

Now, if I were the zookeeper, I would have left her in there to enjoy her swim with these beautiful creatures and I wouldn't have to feed them for a week ...burp!

Stupidity's Immense Wisdom

Stupidity comes in all shapes and sizes. There is small stupidity, which is usually the product of someone not having been taught any better and can usually be forgiven. Then you have big stupidity, which in this case means that a person, or people, seem to think that they know everything and that they are always right ...even when there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

The people who commit big stupidity seem to think that the world revolves around them and anything that they do wrong is never their fault. For example: A father who hasn't seen his children for 19 years seems to think that it is up to the children to take the first step in wanting to communicate, when he has never proven in any way, shape or form that he desired to contact them all that time ...and when he is given the chance to do something right for his children, he blows it!

People like that need to know that the world does not revolve around their petty lives and would do everybody a favor if they grew up! They are nothing but a burden to those around them and often end up embarrassing themselves in front of others. They will never admit to having done anything wrong, they are perfect in their own eyes and so quick to judge people!

They hold themselves in such high esteem that when they go to school, it's to bring their infinite knowledge to that institution and teach the teachers. When they go to the doctor, their purpose is to help him diagnose the disorder and, of course, the treatment to be followed. They will even teach lawyers and judges about law. Their immense wisdom has no limits! Of course, they are wiser and more knowledgeable than professionals with college/university degrees.

"Let it be known to all of you with a career that you have wasted your time, effort and money studying to be useful to society, because here comes the know-it-all who can easily take your place!" LOL!

God forbid you disagree with them when they are talking to someone else about a topic that they know nothing about, although they think they are an expert in the matter! Even if you know that what they are saying is totally wrong and what spews out of their mouth is bull, don't you dare confront them because you'll never hear the end of it!

Take my advice: if you see someone like this, run the other way as fast as you can ...let alone start up a relationship with them!

If You're Not Going to Be a Good Mother, Use a Glove!

Why do women have children if they don't intend to be good mothers?

I've seen a lot of women who go through great lengths to have babies and then I end up wondering why. After observing them for some time I can only conclude that raising their children was never on their priority list.

Their children only serve as a means to win over people's sympathy. They don't bother teaching them morals. Instead, they do not discipline them for fear that their children might not "like" them for doing so, then turn around and blow up at them, insulting them as they go every time they get up on the wrong side of the bed. Some of them don't even know how to take care of themselves ...let alone raise children!

You don't need a special license or permit to be a parent. Some of the most uneducated people have turned out to be great mothers and fathers. What you really need is love, TLC and the desire to give your children the best education you can give them.

There are some mothers who turn their children into spoiled brats and even allow them to get away with anything. And when you try to explain to them that what they're doing is wrong, they make you believe that there is no problem with their child. Now, if you ask me, not listening to the voice of reason is stupid!

Giving your child everything he/she wants or desires is no way of teaching them honor, respect loyalty or self-worth. I feel that if you teach your children that money doesn't grow on trees, that they can't always get what they want, and that they have to earn certain luxuries or privileges, both you and your children will be happier in the long run.

Common sense is what should dictate at a certain age that a child should have respect for its elders, be able to clean up after him/herself, be tidy, go to bed on time, and of course, try their best at school.

There are yet other mothers who actually think that their young children owe them something. They tell them that they should be pampering them as parents because of what they have done for their children. This is usually very little in comparison with what they demand in return. When confronted, they throw everything they have ever done for their children in their faces as a defense mechanism instead of fulfilling their promises to them. They love to justify themselves on the fact that when they were growing up, their lives weren't that great, so they take it out on their own children. Stupidity at its best?

Instead of trying to give their children what they themselves lacked, they choose to use their past as a way to torment their siblings. In the long run, all they are doing is taking their children's self worth away and replacing it with guilt and a sense of uselessness.

To all these would-be mothers,

Do us all a favor and STOP HAVING KIDS! There are plenty of birth control methods that work ...take your pick and use one. Stop being stupid!!!

Some Stupid Women

On one hand, there are women who get married to what they think are wonderful men, but these husbands end up being nothing but jerks; they abuse them physically, mentally and emotionally, because they are nothing but trash themselves, and cannot stand the thought of any woman being better than them ...a strong manifestation of insecurity, don't ya think?

On the other hand, there are women that will go to great lengths to get a guy. They go so far as to even get pregnant in order to trap him. Then they use the his hopes, dreams and morals against him, making him believe that they are willing to eventually change and have the qualities he is really looking for ...this is a form of deceit, and a game they like to play to amuse themselves. It's a way of being in control of him whenever it's convenient. They have complete contempt for his values and use him like a dust rag.

In this second scenario, she not only hurts and damages a good man, but she also uses their children to complete her schemes. Although this leaves life-long scars and damages the child, or children, she has no concern for this, as it is just another means to achieve her own personal gain.

Not only does she damage the man that so many women have such a hard time finding, but she destroys her own children in the process ...not giving it even a second thought as she does it.

Now this is where the stupidity comes in
Women like this are so caught up in being selfish and are so self-centered that they don't realize that "what goes around, comes around". They actually think that they will be spared from the consequences of such actions. They burn out the good men and wonder why they are hated in return. Their defense is always, typically, playing the victim to whoever will listen to them.

If you ask me, these women make it harder for those of us with noble intentions (i.e. those that seek a good life for both and are willing to put in the effort to make a relationship last) to find the right man ...in other words, they should be shot, pissed on and made to pay for the bullets. Lol!

These women are nothing but "parasites" that make people end up concluding that love is some kind of children's fantasy, but that it does not really exist in the adult world.

So my conclusion to all this for all those women and men still looking for that lasting relationship is: Don't give up! If you're not with the right man or woman, keep looking ...I did, and now I'm very happy. Miracles do happen if you just start believing in yourself.

I've Been Thinking ...About Stupid People, That Is

There are a lot of stupid people in this world, although I don't think they were born that way. I guess it's something that they perfect day to day and little by little by making the wrong decisions, not willing to admit that they are at fault in any way, shape or form. They are perfect in their own mind.

Stupid is What Stupid Does

Let me give you a scenario:
A woman is in a relationship with a man for 14 years. Let's just say that the last 8 years of their relationship were a living hell on earth. Besides his mental and physical abuse, he cheated on her and even had a child with the other woman. Never admitting to having done anything wrong, he insists that it was her fault that he cheated and even did everything in his power to make her feel lower than a bug.

She finally opens up her eyes and ends up kicking his ass out of the house and onto the curb.

...Now, put yourself in her shoes. She finally gets rid of this fungus of a man and she feels free for the first time in a long time and he already had a child from a previous relationship, before going out with her...so the new child is number two.

...Now this is where it get's good, people!
He has decided he is not going to pay child support to the first child's mother. But, of course, the government is smarter than he is (hence his being stupid) and they start deducting what he owes the mother from his cheques. The man (who is oficially stupid in my book, now) gets angry and takes the child's mother to court to ask the judge for his money back because he does not want to pay for child support (...once again, stupid).

In the process of preparing for the trial, he has the nerve to demand help from the woman he cheated on and kicked him out, insisting that she owed it to him.

I don't know about you, but a man that cheats on you and even has a child with another woman, treats you like dirt and even goes so far as to call your handicapped child a "bitch" does not deserve a single ounce of help. As a matter of fact, if he were leaning and about to fall over a cliff I would help him fall and even take pictures ...for posterity, you know! (It's always nice to preserve fond memories of our ex-significant others)
